Rest Ministries began in 1996 when Lisa Copen was not able to find the support and encouragement in the Christian community she was searching for upon being diagnosed with a chronic illness. Rest Ministries is a 501[c](3) organization, which means your donations are tax-deductible. We are currently based out of Lisa's home office and we don't pay any  salaries; in fact, Lisa donates the proceeds of all her books and other resources she designs back to the ministry 100%. 

We do have many expenses to keep our web site active, including the Rest Ministries Sunroom our social network. Most of the people we serve live on limited budgets due to the costs involved in the treatment of chronic illness. Each of your gifts are needed and appreciated and help us continue to grow and reach those who do not yet know Jesus.
